The MU15 is a battery powered XG / GM module from 1998. I recorded this demo in three stereo tracks, one after the other, on my ZOOM R20. I was puzzled by your use of Reaper - surely VST Host would be better? although Reaper is fairly resource light. The default format for SD cards and memory sticks over 4Gb is exFAT

Hi, thanks for watching and commenting! You're right, Reaper is pretty lightweight. But you can use any VST host software you prefer. On Windows, FAT32 is the default when you open the formatting tool.

I think I'd try eq'ing the recordings first. The R24 captures all the frequencies, but perhaps some more than others (same might be true for the R20).

this seems to be just about the only mini keyboard controller on the market that has usb/trs/bt midi and an internal battery- the battery and trs midi make this beat the nanokey studio... i don't really need the pads and encoders and all but they will probably be useful, and i wish it had a latchable sustain button i think ill get it its a good bit cheaper than the korg but the key stiffness and horizontal flex concern me, i guess i could return it if it was unsuitable the inability to change midi channel is a frustrating oversight especially with the 3 different connection methods, if you could have each of its own midi channel plus the pads you coukd have this outputting to several dawless setup devices at once... plus the looper? with a nicer keybed that would make this a top tier product even with a higher price, a shame i missed the ~$40 pricing ill have to pay double that but if it works with everything i have its worth it, thanks so much for this review i wonder if there was ever a firmware update??

Hi, thanks for watching! I think there never was a firmware update ( www.rockjamshop.com/pages/support ) All in all, it's a pretty good controller! The keys rubbing against each other is the only thing that's annoying, but you can get used to it.

It is good for he price but to be honest i m getting tired from this type and sound of reverb pedals. Reverb VST plug-ins running in a DAW or VST host are much better sounding, more powerful and much more versatile and also cheaper even with an additional midi controller.

@@mr_floydst Yes, for those great sounds and also stereo i think it is the best for that amazing price and even more. But still the thing with reverbs in this category is they are either general types and ok sound or very specific and good sound. That way I ended up with five pedals and three hardware racks and at the end of the day plugins still sound better. For live use this one pedal could be great, for studio I still prefer the plugins.

Only issue I had is, although the editor recognizes my input midi keyboard, which is hooked up with my computer, I still had to open the app MidiOX to play the notes from it. Maybe I'm missing something here, I don't know...

Thanks. Very useful tutorial. I still cannot say what every job does. But this music ... is a crap :D

Thanks for watching. Yeah, I'm pushing out one video every week, and often, the demo music is utter garbage. On the flipside, if I'm creating more elaborate music, noone watches the video (example: ua-cam.com/video/jGjU2thmE_U/v-deo.html ). So gear reviews with questionable music it is. ;-)

Oh, cool! Did you use it as a "backup band" or as a performance synthesizer?
